Summertime with kids can be so fun and yet so difficult at the same time. The pool is great but the heat can be challenging. It’s relaxing not to have a schedule but sometimes we need some structure from camps. We enjoy our time together but sometimes we need a break! The items below are some things I have been loving during our summer adventures! Let me know if you have any other favorites that help your family during the summer months.

Wet Bag

This wet bag has been one of my longest lasting and most used baby items. We always have one in the diaper bag and one in the pool bag. When kids are younger, it’s great for putting dirty clothes from a blown out diaper in. As our kids have gotten older, it’s our go to bag for wet swimming suits. The bag is washable, so I just toss it in with everything else!

Zip Top Silicone Bags

These are a newer item in our household but they are great! These Zip Top bags are a thick silicone and easy to throw in your purse, diaper bag, or pool bag during your summer adventures!

Handheld Fan

My oldest overheats pretty easily, so I am always looking for ways to stay cool during the summer months. This handheld fan was a Prime Day purchase and we have already gotten a lot of use out of it! It’s small enough to throw in a purse but still puts out a decent breeze. Another great feature is that it is rechargeable!

O2Cool Water Bottle and Bottle Label

We bought a couple of these water bottles last summer. They do not keep your drinks as cold as a stainless steel alternative but they have a spray feature that is the perfect addition to a long summer outing! As an added bonus, this is a great form of entertainment for kids! The water bottle labels that I bought have been great for summer camps but I plan to use them even more during the school year. They remind me of those silicone bracelets you see people sell to raise money for charity. Your child’s name is engraved in it and they can easily be switched from bottle to bottle.
